Walden Medical Clinic strives to provide excellent family medicine care to patients.  Aligned with the goal of the medical home we will provide a full range of services for health and preventive care.

We do not accept walk-ins currently, as patients are seen by appointment only.

THE PHYSICIANS

Maria Lourdes M. Celis, MD, CCFP (COE), FCFP

Dr. Maria Celis is a family physician in practice since 2003.  She is an international medical graduate from the Philippines who specialized in Internal Medicine.  After immigrating to Canada, she went through the Family Medicine Residency program at the University of Alberta and is a certificant and a fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada.  She acquired an added competency for the Care of the Elderly (COE) through the college. She is also a wound specialist working at the Sheldon Chumir Wound Clinic and a Paliative Care Consultant for integrated seniors facility living sites.

Donna Liserani, MD

Dr. Donna Liserani is a family physician in practice in Calgary since 2005.  She graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1990. She was a member of the Canadian Military as a surgical resident at the National Defense Medical Centre in Ottawa and was a base medical officer in CFB Calgary.  After spending two years working in walk-in clinics in Calgary, she spent nine and a half years working as a hospitalist in Switzerland.  In 2005, she returned to Calgary initially working at a walk-in clinc and has been at Walden Medical Clinic since it opened in 2011.

THE STAFF

KC Pappas

KC is the medical office assistant of the clinic.  She is a horse lover and raises miniature horses.
